I’m Aaron Grommesh, and I worked for thatgamecompany from 2011 until 2017, and for Funomena from 2017 until 2019, heading up their social media marketing efforts, showcasing their games and activities at conferences and small events across the U.S. and Asia, and doing various other PR and marketing things.

After humming and hawing about it for a while, I decided to release a podcast that focuses on the specifics of indie video game marketing. I am not a good writer, but I can do a very good job at rambling for hours on end. I also do a good job at removing most of what I said until there’s a small amount of quality content to share out to the indie dev community.

The marketing landscape constantly changes, so there’s a good chance that this information will be outdated. As long as I’m continuing to do this podcast, I’ll do my best at keeping info updated, but there’s only so much one can do pro bono.
